Love:Revised, 2013

Love:Revised is a show about the failed understanding of love and relationships. 7 dancers take on the deluded character of a girl in her early 20s and her mistaken belief on what shared emotion is. The show leads through her stages of love and grief as she explains her view on “love” defined by her own experiences. In 7 pieces, inspired by the art of oriental dance, we ask: How fast do you lose perspective on selfless love when your own most personal emotions and thoughts are conflicted? How much patience, trust and effort does it take for you to create a shared emotion and how many seconds does it take for it to be gone?

MY BODY is about the personal experience everyone undertakes when stepping into the world of dance. The dancers also share their thoughts on movement as a form of expression, meditation, intoxication and joy through voice recordings telling the stories of their dancing bodies.
